It is difficult to get enough distance from one’s case to write

  • a chronology of events
  • an A4 summary
  • lists of official documents and their relevance
  • an index for a bundle of court documents
  • a press release.

That’s why McKenzie Friends are needed to help, support and assist in a variety of circumstances.

Above all, victims need to be HEARD. Therefore, exposure in mainstream media and online publications matters. But it rarely helps to return children or to win cases and appeals in court.
